Personality
Emery's a character in the "playboy" archetype and as part of that they 1) became sexually active in their early teens, and 2) will flirt with most people, even if they're an inappropriate person to flirt with. (Whether it's because they're much older than Emery, in a relationship, a barista just trying to get through their goddamn day, etc.) They're also pretty blasé about their own past experiences.
Emery is fortunately easy to rebuff, but I am also willing to tone down those elements of their character if requested, or refrain from tagging with them entirely.
Lyre Abilities
Emery's in possession of the lyre of Apollo, which he can use to manipulate the minds of others to a limited degree. Specifically he can:
Put characters into a dazed, docile, and suggestible state.
Manipulate their emotions by playing songs of the appropriate mood, e.g. a sad song will make them sad, an energetic song will pump them up, etc.
Lure targets towards his music.
These abilities can be resisted by characters who are deaf, characters who have exceptionally strong willpower, and by characters who have any special supernatural resistance to this kind of magic. OOCly, I'm happy to refrain from letting Emery use these abilities or for them to just Not Work if requested. He's pretty new to this god thing, after all.

As one of Apollo's lesser known aspects is prophecy and insight, Emery has the ability to "see" events that happen at a distance across space and/or time. This means he can potentially witness events from your character's past or future. This is unlikely to come up and Emery has trouble using this ability, but it is a possibility. - Ilphyl's awful childhood and adolescence in the Underdark, the largely-unwanted son of a priestess of Lolth.
- Training as a druid, largely with their mentor, a forest gnome.
- Time spent in a surface drow community devoted to Eilistraee, a drow goddess of freedom, dance and the hunt.
- Being a traveling adventurer on the Sword Coast of Faerun.
I'm open to writing out any past Emery might see or answer questions about it. Ilphyl will be annoyed at first if it is done without permission, but willing to offer up something if it's not private or personal, and they think it will help.
Does your character have any special abilities or qualities that might affect how Emery's powers work on them? If so, what? D&D elves in general are resistant to magic that gives the 'charm' effect. They aren't immune, so it's possible to affect Ilphyl with this sort of magic, but might take extra effort. (Ilphyl in particular also is strong-willed.)

No special abilities, but possibly as a god Emery might be able to pick up on the fact that a) Link is carrying around a Divine As Fuck sword. He might also be able to pick up that Link's soul is one that's been 'chosen' by another divinity.

Since they're both gods, I figure they can normally determine whether or not the other one's godly powers works on them. Assuming they're on good terms, yes, Emery can use both abilities on Matt. If Emery prefers to hide from Matt's soul reading power on the other hand, Matt might guard himself against Emery's special sight.

Visions
Date: 2025-03-27 03:38 am (UTC)-Atom isn't human and there are plenty of memories that show it.
-He can probably learn at least some of Atom's abilities.
-Happy at home with his little sister and Professor Ochanomizu, or making friends with young classmates who have been aging since, unlike him.
-Racism against robots and the day robots were given rights as people by lawmakers.
-Multiple instances saving people in danger or trying to.
-The fact he was made to replace Tobio Tenma, Dr. Tenma's son who died in a car crash.
-Dr. Tenma was depressed and absent, and ultimately decided to sell Atom to a circus, deciding it was the best for them both, even though Atom didn't want to go.
-Many mixed feelings towards Dr. Tenma. Currently confusion due to Tenma's decision to help revive him after he fell in battle.
-Atom's fight against Pluto and how close he came to killing Pluto in a rage seeking revenge. (He is debating how much force to use in battle in the present.)
There's more but this is the stuff that tends to repeat throughout his past or gets reflected on a lot.
Future
-Atom is reunited with his family at home.
-Atom eventually meets Dr. Tenma again and his creator expresses regret for how he treated him before.

Can Emery see into your character's past or future? If so, what might Emery see? Emery sure can! While her future is uncertain save for some permanent factors, Some highlights from her past that Natalia remembers:
-- Her parents getting shot
-- The harsh training of Kamchatka Program to increase her cultivation as well as prepare her culturally for spy and assassin work
-- Her awakening to the Inner Lotus through maths at 7 and then applied to martial arts about the same time
-- The hell that is being a farm Servant, and taking it on the chin without complaint
-- Outright killing a noble who decided to hunt her for sport
-- Collapsing in a heap not long after landing herself and a stolen glider on a Corsair ship
Some highlights she doesn't:
-- That divine affliction down there? She knows it's powerful, and that the spellcasters she's asked can't budge it. She doesn't know she did it to herself.
-- Her body rejecting cybernetics surgery so powerfully they never tried again.
-- Her constant resentment of her 'replacement' parents (the Koutolikas)
-- Give her any weapon. She's been trained in its use. She has not, in fact, realized these memories were intentionally suppressed by her handlers.

Natalia has an Affliction (read: divine mandate), Frozen Heart-- "[Natalia's] heart must remain frozen." This is, according to her original character sheet, a force that counters even miracles that seek to oppose it. Letting the mask slip-- letting others see her joy or sorrow, without taking it into account-- is a Godly task, and more difficult than it first appears, even for a god. Lately she's been exploring the loophole in it of expressing herself by using the ice, and, uh, results have been mixed.

Can Emery see into your character's past or future? If so, what might Emery see? Well, basically in his past he went through a massive war, and a lot of emotional devastation including the death of his friends, his future is... essentially dying in space.

He's human, but he's noted to have an insanely high will-power (a sequel series has him no-sell an eldritch being's attempt to terrify him and forcibly ejected her from his ship through will power alone).

Kaitlyn's past is largely pretty boring until a year before ending up here - normal college theater student. At one year before, however, she was pulled into a semi-connected-to-Earth alternate dimension dungeon space, becoming connected to a Patroness of Winter and thus gaining her abilities, all at the low low cost of physically needing to go out to the dungeon to gain the resource known as Color to fuel her advancement and continued existence. Plenty of adventures have occurred since.
One implication Kaitlyn hasn't really wrangled with is that the 'pull' was more a 'shift of consciousness' - her body is essentially made up of magical energies at a fundamental level now.
Does your character have any special abilities or qualities that might affect how Emery's powers work on them? If so, what?</b? Kaitlyn's powers mark her as more 'human-adjacent' than traditionally human, and her body is literally cold (how much so varies). Under 'summer' conditions (more conceptual than literal heat), there'll be a continuous tone of 'I am hot, this sucks' type language going on with her.
